Male Breast Reduction
What is Male Breast Reduction?
Gynecomastia, also known as enlarged male breasts or man boobs, is an incredibly common occurrence in men. However for many reasons including peer pressure or the need to be ‘masculine’, we know this is often a topic many men shy away from addressing or even seeking support with.
The most common age this begins to develop is during puberty, but the causes of it are often varied. Poor lifestyle choices can contribute to it, but so can steriod abuse. Other times it is the body’s natural habit to store unused fat around the breasts. As appearance is personal to each man, having larger breasts can be one of the most emotionally distressing conditions he can experience. Added to the fact that it can be extremely difficult to achieve a flatter chest through exercise, we often see men of all ages who come to us after suffering with depression and a desire to ‘hide away’ from people because of this.
Why Choose Male Breast Reduction?
Benefits of male breast reduction are both physical and psychological. Having been bothered by enlarged breast appearance, for years, you will feel better about what you see in the mirror. You will feel more comfortable removing your shirt in public and engaging in social activities such as going to the beach. Male breast reduction is a very gratifying and liberating experience for men allowing them to regain self confidence and masculine shape. Summer will never be the same again!
How Does it Work?
With every man that comes to us unsatisfied with his large chest, we are discreet and compassionate. We strive to create the environment that allows you to feel comfortable and understood. And if you opt for surgery we aim to reduce the size of your breasts through:
- Liposuction or incision, depending on what we both agree is right for you
- Removing the glandular tissue and/or fat excess
- Removes any excess skin
- Restores the natural aspect of the chest area
