What is a DHI Hair Transplant?
The DHI treatment begins by first extracting the hair follicles from the donor area, which is typically the back of the head or another part of the body. Once the hair follicles are extracted under local anaesthetic, they are kept safe ready for insertion.
The donor hair is the transplanted into the scalp using a choi pen. This pen is an implanter which means as it creates the incision into the scalp, it also places the hair follicle into place. Without the need to create incisions prior to implanting hair follicles, it can be a faster way to conduct than an FUE.
