Causes of Dull Skin
There can be many reasons that your skin may be appearing duller such as:
- Dehydration – when you are dehydrated the body decreases the blood flow through thr body and can leaving you looking pale and sickly
- Exfoliating – If you don’t exfoliate you are leaving the dead skin cells to sit on the skin
- Moisturising – Forgetting to moisture you skin can leave your skin dry and dull
- Stress – Our body recreates to stress in many ways one is the increase in cortisol, which can affect blood flow to the skin and your skin's ability to repair
- Sleep – or lack of sleep
- Smoking – nicotine affects the skin and your body
- Make up – Wearing mattifying make-up can lead to dry and dull skin as it can reduce the skins bright appearance
- Diet – Eating a balanced diet is key for a healthy mind, body and skin.
