This Saturday, take a moment to remember that every Women's Equality Day from year to year marks the struggle women have had to secure their human rights and equal treatment in society and the workplace.
How can you get involved in putting a spotlight on Women's Equality Day? One of the best ways to support other women and open up discussion about gender equality is to share the date with family and friends.
For example, you can share an empowering Instagram post celebrating equal rights, or maybe gather your friends together and have a toast to all the courageous women and girls who have stood up for their rights around the world. Increasing awareness of gender issues with people you love, live with, and work with will have a positive impact on the bigger picture.
