Do I Need to do a Course if I want to Perform Laser Treatments?

Are you more interested in careers in medical aesthetics that use laser? That’s great. We can help with that too. In order to treat clients with laser therapy you’ll need to have an NVQ3 or equivalent. This is the most basic level of qualification you can have if you want to carry out laser treatments.

At Este, we offer Laser Level 4 Hair Removal, Skin Rejuvenation & IPL training. It’s a three-day course that covers using laser for a range of skin issues. This course has been designed for beauty therapists and medical specialists who would like to move on to becoming a qualified laser technician.

Anything Else?

So, you’ve nailed all the training, you’ve impressed your course practitioners and now you want a job. You’re half-way there! If you’ve showed the people who matter that you’re good, you’re ready to learn, and want to keep learning; you’re a great candidate for a career in the aesthetics industry.

After all, aesthetics isn’t just about the art of making someone look good by using dermal fillers or laser treatments, it’s about interacting with them, understanding what they want, helping them appreciate the different intricacies of each treatment.

A great aesthetician doesn’t just know how much Botox to inject, they know what’s right for their client because they’ve built up a relationship with them. So, learn your craft, keep learning, and be a people person who listens and understands.
