What is PRF hair loss?

The PRF treatment is similar to PRP; however, the difference is that PRF does not use anticoagulants or chemicals. It results in a thicker, gel-like substance with a higher concentration of platelets and growth factors than PRP.

It is a non-surgical and minimally invasive procedure that stimulates hair growth and improves density. It has become a promising solution for individuals experiencing hair thinning or loss.

How does PRF work for hair loss?

The PRF treatment involves the use of your blood to encourage hair growth and reduce hair fallout. A small amount of blood is drawn, similar to a standard blood test.

Using a centrifuge, we then separate the platelets and growth factors from the rest of the blood components. This results in the PRF solution, which is rich in platelets and bioactive proteins.

What can PRF Hair Treatment help with?

  • Strengthening Hair Follicles:

PRF treatment strengthens hair follicles, making them more resistant to damage and hair loss.

It can help prevent further hair thinning or breakage.

  • Hair Regrowth:

PRF stimulates dormant hair follicles, promoting new hair growth.

It can be effective for individuals experiencing androgenetic alopecia (male or female pattern baldness) or general hair thinning.

  • Improving Hair Health:

PRF contains growth factors and bioactive proteins that nourish the scalp and hair follicles.

It can improve overall hair health, making it shinier and more resilient.

  • Hair Thickening:

PRF can increase hair thickness and diameter, resulting in a fuller and more voluminous appearance.

It enhances the quality and texture of existing hair.

  • Reducing Hair Shedding:

PRF may help reduce excessive hair shedding or hair loss caused by stress, nutritional deficiencies, or hormonal changes.

It can stabilise the hair growth cycle.
