Once a hair graft is removed from your scalp, it’s cut off from its blood supply until it’s implanted again. In a conventional hair transplant, grafts are usually extracted in one large batch, stored, then implanted in a second stage. This means some grafts can wait outside the body for three to four hours.

Continuous immediate implantation (CII) works differently. Each graft is extracted, cleaned and implanted in a continuous cycle using robotic DHI, so it spends roughly 10 to 15 minutes outside the body. Robotic hair transplant VS FUE: what is the difference?

In traditional FUE, hair follicles are manually extracted and implanted by the clinician, with all placement controlled by hand. With robotic DHI, the clinician still extracts and implants every graft. The robotic system does not perform the procedure. Does the robot carry out the surgery?
